Energy Atlas is a project which maps data on energy in Amsterdam.
In the coming decades, Amsterdam's population will have an estimated increase of up to 150.000 new habitats. In the same decades, the city is planning to switch entirely to renewable energies and establish itself as a climate neutral city. The increase in population is also accompanied with an enlarged demand of energy which is making the transition to sustainable energies even more challenging. For the local government, investors, businesses and homeowners it is therefore critical to know where energy is demanded, where more renewable energy can be produced and where a production that matches the demand can be realized.
To gather all the data in the fields of energy and provide it simple and clearly on a map to the community.
The energy data is published on a website through an interactive map.
