Insights provides a management tool for cities and governments to include citizens effectively in decision-making processes.
Problem
Decisions in the public sector are still mostly made by few people. Civic engagement is often slow, costly and inefficient.
Aim
We want to improve decisions by reaching out to the wisdom of crowds. We want to make use of the knowledge of citizens by including them in decision processes while leaving the ultimate decision power with the decision maker.
Approach
We have developed a digital platform that serves as a management tool for cities and governments, but also for private organizations. The tool supports various online and offline channels for reaching out to your citizens. Citizens can give their advice regarding a specific question on the platform and their contributions are condensed to insights via crowd-analysis. These insights present the new basis for decision-making. Now it's your turn as a decision-maker to address the insights. Citizens are kept in the loop throughout the whole process.
