Solution Summary
Portal Lublin Digital Archive is an integrated platform for the provision of archival materials allowing for collection and resource processing online. The assumption of the portal is full availability and openness - to use it, you only need to have access to a computer, internet browser and Internet. The use of the portal is free of charge and does not require logging in, as a result of which personal data of visitors are not collected or processed.

The creation of the Lublin Digital Archive allowed for solving the following problems:
- lack of generally available digital copies of the most important high-tech documents;
- lack of an integrated platform containing materials that are a testimony and source of knowledge about the city's history.
Aim
The main goal of the creation of the Lublin Digital Archive was to create one platform allowing to collect and show digital copies of archival materials online.
Spatial Level
Approach
The Lublin Digital Archive Portal is a project of the National Archives in Lublin with the support of the Supreme Directorate of State Archives. In the first years of the archive's operation, the resources were limited to materials concerning Lublin. In the future, the extension of the portal is planned for documentation created on the entire area of the Lublin province.
